WaterstofNet, headquartered in Turnhout, Belgium, is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and developing sustainable hydrogen technology. With a mission to drive the clean energy transition, WaterstofNet plays a pivotal role in advancing hydrogen-based solutions by coordinating industrial projects, building networks, and advising policymakers. They aim to facilitate the adoption of hydrogen as a crucial energy source, distinguishing themselves through their vast experience and robustpartnerships within the hydrogen sector.
What is the project about?
The hydrogen sector is rapidly evolving, and WaterstofNet faces thechallenge of remaining competitive while securing the necessary funding for large-scale hydrogen initiatives. The project focuses on developing a framework to evaluate countries for their potential as partners in hydrogen-related projects. The objective is to identify and apply relevant criteria (technical, economic, social, environmental, and geopolitical) to assess and rank 5-10 countries based on their potential to collaborate with WaterstofNet in the growing hydrogen sector. This ranking will provide WaterstofNet with actionable insights for strategic partnerships and enhance its visibility internationally.
